Liz Oberg is the Director for Corporate Initiatives at Business Roundtable. In this role she oversees the development and implementation of new and existing programs designed to ensure that America’s corporations play an effective part in advancing the interests of workers and communities
Previously she served as the Manager for Public Affairs at the Roundtable where she contributed to the association’s 2018 CEO Innovation Summit, launch of the updated Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation in 2019, COVID-19 relief efforts in 2020 and 2021 and the advocacy efforts surrounding the 2021 passage of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
Prior to the Roundtable she worked at the White House in the Office of Communications. In this role she developed and executed events and projects related to messaging priorities including tax reform and the State of the Union Address, among others.
Before her government service, Oberg worked at the Republican National Committee and the Eisenhower Institute. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Gettysburg College.
